How Can You Help

I can think of no logical explanation for the name of over 200 of the streets of Luton. These can be found by using the category search facility and selecting 'No Suggestion'. I am sure that if you look through this list you will be able to come up with suggestions for the names.

More than 500 streets appear to be named after places. Perhaps you know why the streets around you are named after places from a certain area of the country.

If you know, or just have a theory about, the story behind any street name I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Any information that improves the section concerned with past street names, including memories of when town centre redevelopment caused streets to disappear, would be very useful.

Any photographs, new or old, that would add to the website will also be gratefully received.
